Today was an excellent day!! We all slept in...the boys didn't get up until 10:15am (we were up before they were!!). After we all got up and got moving, it was time to get ready to take the kids to their babysitter's house - and Davy and I were headed to the Kentucky Motor Speedway for an Indy Car Race. We dropped the kids off at Lexi's house (the babysitter) around 1:30...and we didn't even get out of the house and the boys were busy playing with Lexi's little brother -- they didn't even care that we were leaving!!! We arrived at the race - parked - and got into the stadium to take in all the pre-race events. We sat in Baker's Box for the race...my first time to ever sit in a Box!! The Indy race was amazing...Davy keeps telling me that Indy races don't touch Nascar, so I can't imagine what Nascar would be like. We had a great evening together...and the boys had a blast with their babysitter!!

Glad that you had fun!! My husband is a huge Nascar fan so I've seen my share of races...but he hasn't been able to convince me to come along yet...we'll see, you may have inspired me (a little bit anyway!!)
okay, I just re-read my comment, and that made NO SENSE at all!! What I meant to say was, I've watched plenty of races from the comfort of my couch, but he hasn't been able to drag me along to one of the speedways yet...sorry, long day!!
I am not a NASCAR fan either..I have watched my share on TV too, but I will say...after being there - it is a lot different than just watching the cars go around and around on TV. Davy's office has a box here...and NASCAR is suppose to run the Cup Race in the next couple of years, so maybe ya'll can come with us!!
My boys are big fans too...they love watching the race with their dad...I don't stand a chance!!
I just read my husband your reply, and he sooo wants to be your best friend now!! Don't worry, I won't let him stalk you or anything.
