HE DID IT....HE DID IT...YEAH!!!!

I am sooooooo proud of Carson!! He RODE the bus this morning...and LOVED IT!!! Whooohhh...can you tell I am so excited? This morning started off a little rough, but not as bad as it has been!! It was raining a little, so I drove him up to the clubhouse to meet the bus. He was a little hesitant before hand, but when he noticed Mason (a little friend he met at the pool this summer) he just lite up. The best part was....it was Mason's first time to ride too!! He wanted me to pick him up this afternoon, so I did...and he said the he had a great day!! We are slowly but surely making progress!!! On the way home from school this afternoon, he said he wanted to ride the bus home tomorrow from school....blew my mind!! Tonight, before bed...I asked Carson if he wanted to ride the bus in the morning...and get this....he said he wanted to ride the bus in the MORNING and in the AFTERNOON!!! So, we will see how things turn out tomorrow after school!!!

YEAH. I just sat here catching up on everything. I started at the bottom and worked my way up and clapped when I saw that he rode the bus. The daily progression of the bus and going to school was great. Sounds like he did SO good though!!! YEAH ANGIE!!! SO glad it worked out quickly. (and I love the pictures of Barrett...too cute).

Thanks!! We are so very excited about it!! It was really beginning to wear me down!! I felt guilty for not teaching at the school with him, but he has to get use to me not always being there with him!! I will be up there a good bit volunteering, but I am enjoying staying at home too!! How are you?

Tell my grandson that his Mimi and Pop are very, very proud of him! He is such a big boy! I'm just sorry that we won't be there on a day when we can take him to the bus stop and watch him climb aboard the bus to go to school. I'm glad he has Mason to ride with.
And Barrett is just precious! The video was wonderful. He and Ty look like two peas in a pod. I'm glad they have each other too.
We can't wait for a big hug from our boys!
