We had an eventful day...we finished shopping for Davy's b-day gifts....he was surprised about these! And the boys wanted to make him a cake....and those who know me well know that I DON'T BAKE CAKES....I BUY THEM!! But I thought that I could try and live up to some of my SAHM duties and BAKE ONE. And to my surprise it was really good!!! Watch out Betty Crocker....here I come!!
The boys enjoyed making the cake as much as they did licking the batter!!
They were sooo excited about giving Davy his gifts. Poor Barrett had a hard time understanding why we didn't have party hats, balloons, the whole big birthday party thing~~
We enjoyed a dinner at Moe's (that is where Davy wanted to eat) - then came home for cake and presents...then off to church!!!

Pop and I are so impressed with the SAHM and her boys for baking a cake for Davy. It looks really good--both the cake that actually got eaten and the icing that the boys wore on their faces. Angie, you may be domestic yet! You may learn to love staying a home. That's neat that you have that option now. Tell Davy that we appreciate his sharing you guys with us for several days; we had a great time.
