Sledding Southern Style

Today, we were literally SNOWED in. They issued a level 3 for all roads...which means you can't go out unless it is an emergency! So, Davy worked from home again today. After lunch, the boys took a short rest -- then we suited up and headed out! Davy went out a few minutes earlier to start shoveling the driveway so that we could get the 4 wheeler out.

Needless to say...he thinks we need to purchase a snow blower..and I agree!! The boys enjoyed helping him too! Barrett used a sand shovel to help his daddy -- bad thing is -- he kept losing it :(






I couldn't find Barrett for a minute while we were outside playing...I turned around and this is what I found::


After we had cleaned off the driveway, we got the 4-wheeler out and we had a ball sledding with the boys!! They loved it...and so did we! We think we are the only people in our neighborhood with a 4-wheeler..and they probably think we are "Red Necks" with our 4-wheeler pulling our sled, but we don't care. It was kindof funny, because people would come out and watch us...and wave to the kids!! Who knows...maybe we started something new in our new neighborhood!!
