Carson's Birthday Dinner

On Wednesday, we met the Carden Family for dinner at Red Robin for Carson's birthday. Red Robin had sent him a free meal coupon for his birthday, so we decided to use it Wednesday. He was sooo excited. He couldn't wait until they sang "Happy Birthday" to him!! As most of you know, Carson is not a big "sweets" eater, so he didn't even eat the Sunday...but the rest of us enjoyed it!!

A Day at the Children's Mus.

On Monday, Barrett and I met our playgroup at the Children's Mus. Barrett LOVES this place..and we have a year's membership there -- so I guess we should get our money's worth. Kelly (one of the moms in my playgroup) and I decided to take the boys through the Dinosaur Exhibit. They were a little scared at first, but after they made it through - they wanted to go back again. After we went through the Dino. Exhibit, we headed into the museum to let the kids enjoy a FUN day of playing!! They had a BLAST!!

Rock Climbing

Sunday, the boys had a birthday party to attend for a friend. The party was at a place called Pump It Up! I was floored! The boys had a ball. It is a huge warehouse full of jumper type things. Along with the jumpers - they have rock climbing. The boys loved this!! They thought it was pretty neat. Here are a couple of pictures of the boys rock climbing.

Bowman School Carnival

Well, I have a little (well a lot) of catching up to do on my blog!! I have been sooo busy that I haven't had a chance to blog lately. I hate when I get this behind - it then takes me FOREVER to catch up!! Oh well -- just another day!!

Anyway, last Saturday (the 7th) Carson's school had their little school carnival. It was very nice...and we all had a ball! They had it set up around the pirate them...all the games were named after various sea/pirate/treasure type ideas. I had signed up to work a booth, but when I got there -- they closed my booth b/c they were out of prizes for that game. So, I got to enjoy the day with the boys. Here are some pictures from that day!!

Our House

Well, I finally took the time to take some pictures of our house!! Sorry some are a little dark...I didn't realize it until I had already made the slideshow!! I am sooo proud of my new furniture that I got from my grandparents and my parents!! My grandparents have moved in with my aunt, so I was able to get a few pieces of their furniture from their house! My parents also gave me some of their old furniture as well. It is nice to look at these new pieces and remember them from my parents' house and my grandparents' house!! We are still in the process of decorating and still have to paint the boys' rooms, but for now -- this is our house!!

Carson's 7th Birthday Party with the Family

It is hard to believe that my sweet baby Carson will be 7 March the 13th...where has the time gone? He has really grown up over the past few months!! While we were back in TN...we decided to celebrate Carson's 7th birthday party with our family. We had a great time too!! Everyone came to mom and dad's house for some great stir fry (thanks dad..and mom), cupcakes, and gifts. Carson was sooooo excited to celebrate his birthday with the family!! We had a great time visiting with everyone, and Carson THANKS everyone for his $$$$ and toys. With his money, Carson got some clothes for this spring and summer (thanks Mom for finding all these great clothes).

We are sooo blessed to have a great family...and we love being able to see everyone when we come back to visit!! A special thanks goes out to Aunt Connie and Aunt Jean for hauling Grandmamma and Grandaddy to Henderson for this special day. That really meant a lot to all of us!! We love you all!!
